For the start of this design we had to figure out the components that this wall would have and by doing so then we would understand what type of systems should be included to fill the requirements of the plants, of the biowall structure and of an efficient resource supplier. The components that plants in the biowall will need are air, soil nutrients, water and sunlight; from there we create different systems that allow us to distribute every requirement throughout the biowall. Starting with water, there were many options for different types of irrigation systems but the most efficient one would a sprinkler irrigation system at the top of the wall that will make water flow down the soil inside the biowall until it reaches a pool at the bottom from where water is then recycled and used again for irrigation. The structure of the biowall would be composed of three layers, two layers of mesh fabric and the soil layer in between these two. The first layer will have the pockets for the plants with the dimensions said in figure 2. For the air that is needed and then expelled, the biowall will include a small fan in the bottom and another one in the top which will inhale the air and exhale it respectiveley. There would be certain requirements for the biowall to survive which means that it won't be suitable for every household or every romm in a residential complex. It will require an open space with as few as possible furniture near it, it will be recommended for living rooms, and the lighting of the room should be enough for every section of the biowall to be completely exposed to the sunlight for at least three hours.
